Welcome to Wenceslas and Alice Poirier Family Site

This website has been prepared to document the stories of those families and individuals who trace their lineage to Wenceslas and Alice Poirier, who were married in Port Daniel, in the Gaspé Peninsula of Quebec, on July 5, 1910. We hope the site will provide a means for family members to tell their stories, and will encourage all of us to stay connected with each other, to keep in touch as a family.

Hopefully it will also provide a means for some other Poirier relatives in other parts of the world to make contact with this branch of the huge Poirier Family. Our Family Tree dates back to 1670, when Michel Poirier married Marie Boudrot. Michel was the son of Jehan Poirier and Jeanne Chobrat, who moved from France to Port Royal prior to the birth of Michel. Here are some of the areas you can visit:
